Appointed

Guwahati: NCA Level II coach Subhadeep Ghosh of Assam has been appointed a fielding coach for India under-16 camp to be held at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore from April 23 to June 3. This is the third time he has been appointed for a similar assignment. Earlier, he performed the duty twice in the under-16 and under-19 camps last year.

Stadium

Guwahati: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Nagaland Cricket Academy at Sovima in Dimapur, unveiling a monolith of the same on Saturday. This is the first cricket ground to be developed in Nagaland. Rio is also the president of the Nagaland Cricket Association, which is yet to be affiliated to the BCCI.

Trekking

Imphal: The Adventure Academy of Manipur will conduct a 10-day trekking programme to Vangai range and will leave for Tipaimukh in Churachandpur District on April 18. The programme is sponsored by the youth affairs and sports department and officials from the department will join the trekking programme.
