Coaching camp

Guwahati: The Archery Association of Assam will hold its 15-day first-phase coaching camp to form the state team for the 2005 National Games at SAI Newfield here from Saturday. Altogether 90 archers, including 33 women, have been invited to the camp.

Team named

Guwahati: The All Assam Chess Association has named an eight-member team to represent the state in the 19th national under-19 (girls) chess competition at Calicut from May 10.

Trekking

Guwahati: A 16-member team of mountaineers, under the banner of Eco-Adventure Organisation Penguin, left for a trekking expedition to Sandakphu on Friday. The team will start trekking on Sunday and is expected to scale the summit by Monday.

Cricket.com up

Dimapur: Cricket.com beat Rustic Radicals by six wickets in the Longlangba cricket tournament at Chumukedima here on Friday. Rustic Radicals were all out for 107 in the stipulated 30 overs. In reply, Cricket.com cruised home in 25.3 overs.
