Manipur duo brings laurels
Imphal: O. Joy Singh and Kh. Kiranmala Devi of Manipur bagged bronze medals in the sixth Asian wushu championship at Myanmar National Stadium, Yangon, recently. Joy won the bronze medal in men?s shansou 70kg class, defeating Khoo Meng Yang of Malaysia. Kiranmala defeated her Korean opponent Jung Kwang Mi in the 48kg shansou event. About 530 competitors and officials from 24 Asian nations participated in the championship.Karate team
