Shooting feat

Imphal: Th. Sujeeta Devi broke two state records during the 16th All Manipur Shooting Competition at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex shooting range here. Sujeeta, a SAI trainee, shot her personal best of 288 out of 300 point breaking Th. Sujibala Devi’s earlier record of 264 points. Sujeeta also went past A. Reena Devi’s record of 263 points.

Sepak takraw

Imphal: Manipur bagged the men and women’s titles in the 17th senior national sepak takraw championship that concluded at Hyderabad. Manipur beat Assam 21-8, 21-10 for the men’s regu title and in the women’s regu final, Manipur beat Assam 12-21, 21-12, 15-7.
