Aizawl, Nov. 6 (PTI): A group of political parties and civil society groups today resolved to take steps to ensure that the Election Commission of India did not force the state electoral officials to proceed with the completion of the special summary revision of voters' lists in the Bru relief camps of Tripura.

The resolution was made in a joint meeting of Mizoram's five political parties and five civil society groups today.

The meeting expressed regret that the Election Commission continued to make efforts to conduct summary revision of electoral rolls in the camps.

One arrested: Police today seized one AK-47 assault rifle in Aizawl and arrested Lalhmachhuana of Phungdungsei village in this connection.
