Guwahati, Nov. 20: The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) will try to generate employment for one crore youths during the Tenth five year plan with special emphasis on the northeastern region.

“The northeastern states have been declared as special category states,” N.K. Roy, deputy chief executive officer, KVIC, NE Zone, told newsmen here today.
