Collective voice

Activists of 11 political parties stage a protest in Guwahati on Saturday against the Centre's decision to auction oil fields of Assam to private and foreign companies. More than 400 activists of the CPI, CPM, CPI (M-L), National Communist Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Samajwadi Party, Asom Sangrami Mancha, Liberal Democratic Party, Revolutionary Communist Party of India, Forward Bloc and Janata Dal (Secular) united in front of Dighalipukhuri at 11am and protested by displaying placards and shouting slogans.
