The Kamrup district administration has asked NGOs to attend all trainings and mock drill on disaster management.
At a meeting on Saturday, representatives of various NGOs highlighted their experiences while working in disaster-hit areas, particularly during floods, and put forward their suggestions. The meeting was presided over by additional deputy commissioner B.M. Quiah.
