The United Kingdom marked the 140th birth anniversary of Dr BC Roy and National Doctors’ Day by unveiling a commemorative plaque at the British Deputy High Commission on Ho Chi Minh Sarani on Friday. Nick Low, British deputy high commissioner to Kolkata, and Narayan Swaroop Nigam, secretary to the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the 140th birth anniversary of Dr BC Roy and National Doctors’ Day. The unveiling took place in front of Debanjan Chakrabarti, director of British Council, east and northeast India, and others.
