For astronomers, stargazers and astrologers the lunar eclipse on Tuesday was extremely important as the November 8 blood moon was the second total lunar eclipse of 2022 after the Super Flower Blood Moon eclipse in May

The rare celestial event was witnessed by several people of all ages in Kolkata between 5.12pm and 6.32pm
