nI give thumbs up to homemade food. I not only find it safe but delicious. I like simple food. I stick to regular dal-subzi and I never tire of that.
Breakfast has to be the heaviest meal for me. I can keep tucking in till I collapse on the table. It can be either vegetarian or non-vegetarian fare. Usually, there’s upma, parathas, idlis and dosas.
If I have to eat studio food, I prefer to have idlis ? it’s safe and filling. Among other things, I take sandwiches or chapattis. Lunch usually comes from home. I usually take chapattis, dal, vegetables, raita and salad. Occasionally, I eat rice. It’s best to avoid rice during work hours, though, because it makes you feel sluggish.
Dinner is the lightest meal for me, as I believe that’s good for my digestive system. I eat Indian or Continental food at night. I usually avoid non-vegetarian food then.
I take some health drinks and lots of natural fruit juices. Coconut water is the best natural drink. Carbonated drinks are an absolute no-no for me.
There are, however, two things I binge on ? Thai food and chocolate desserts. I can’t say no to those. I don’t like to eat very spicy stuff but I make an exception with Thai food. And who can refuse a helping of sinful chocolate?
