COLOURS
There is no curb on playing with colours without inconveniencing others. But district administrations want to ensure a safe and peaceful Holi for all. Few suggestions
· Use organic colours
· Do not apply colour on women you don't know
· You can complain against anyone hurling colour-filled balloons
NOISE
According to Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Act, loudspeakers aren't allowed between 10pm-6am. Loudspeakers or microphones can be used at other times but within limits (55 decibels in the morning, 45 decibels at night).
Since board examinations are on, complaints will invite police action
