Jamshedpur, Nov. 8: City school authorities would no longer have to fret over where to take their students during vacations, thanks to JSR tours and travels.

It is a city-based travel agency which began its operation about six months ago.

The agency has come up with a unique concept of customised tour packages for school students. It is also the first official franchisee partner of Cox and Kings tours.

These customised packages would be the in-house brands promoted by the company.

“School trips have always been very haphazardly planned, but this is the first time any professional tour operator has taken over such a big responsibility,” said Sunil Singh, the senior travel executive, JSR tours and travels.

The tour operator has tied up with Nakshatra group of hill resorts in Bengal.

“In the first year we are mainly concentrating on Dooars and Darjeeling. So, we have tied up with the resort groups. Few tour operators would also be working in collaboration with us,” said Singh.

They are making all possible arrangements to provide top class facilities to students. The travel package would cost each student around Rs 3,200.
