The new challenges with changing concepts and perceptions of legal issues ranging from dynamics of socio-political matters to business economics, have redefined the boundaries of legal implication. There has been a marked change in laws governing business in this phase of globalisation. To cater to the needs of radical changes and the requirements of legal needs of corporates, the city centre of ICFAI has introduced a post graduate diploma course in international business law.

Course Content: Evolution of international trade, avenues of international business, trade policies, trade relations, anti dumping, subsidies and countervailing duties, policy of government procurement, general agreement on trade and tariff, uniform trade laws, role of multi national companies, trade and contracts, sales of good and services, international guarantee agreements, legal aspects of international trade finance, EXIM Bank, bills of exchange, essential elements of an arbitration and enforcements of international arbitration.

Course Fee: Rs 15,000 without training and Rs 20,000 with training.

Duration: Nine months

Eligibility: Graduates and post graduates in any discipline. Prospects: Successful candidates taken as legal advisors in organisations involved in international trade.
