INKED INC: MLA Tej Pratap Yadav said he will soon have a permanent tattoo of his father and mother

Patna: Anyone who believes in the RJD's ideology should tattoo it on themselves, Mahua MLA Tej Pratap Yadav suggested on Sunday.

"The idea of having RJD tattooed on their body to show devotion towards the party and it's leaders is very good. There are people who like to have tattoos to show their devotion towards anything, so why not an RJD tattoo? But I must say it is not compulsory for my party leaders, but it would be good if they have one," said the eldest son of RJD boss Lalu Prasad.

Tattoos are common all over the world - among the masses and celebrities alike. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has tattoos of lord Shiv and a Samurai warrior with a raised sword, English footballer David Beckham has about 40 tattoos on his body, including his wife and children's names and his parents', and Saif Ali Khan has Kareena tattooed on his arm in the Devanagari script to name a few celebs who have got inked.

Patna residents commonly get lotus, angel, dragon, lion and zodiacs tattooed on their body.

Tej said youngsters are more interested in tattooing and an RJD youth already has the party's name inked on his hand.

Stealing the show with his idea, the young RJD leader also said will not mind having the name of his parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi inscribed on his hand.

The first-time MLA and former health minister even said he will soon have a permanent tattoo of his father and mother. "So far I do not have any tattoo on my body but soon I will get the names of my parents tattooed on my hand," he said. "If someone do not like their tattoo later, they can easily remove it by surgery as well."
