The goal rush continued on Day 3 of the ongoing Jamshedpur Sporting Association (JSA) open hockey league as teams posted wins with huge margins.

If Tata Steel routed DBMS Kadma High School 9-0 in the first match on Thursday, Jamshedpur Friends Club A trounced DBMS English High School by the same score in the second tie of the afternoon. The match between Bharat Munda Samaj B and Jaipal Singh Munda witnessed a 2-2 stalemate.

Three goals by Rajesh Dang were the cornerstones in Tata Steel victory in a one-sided match. The fast-footed forward was too good for the hapless midfielders and defenders of DBMS who seemed to be at sea in stopping his forays into their half.

Brace by T. Barla twice only compounded the opponent outfit's woes even as J. Kandulna, Sosen Nag, J. Dungdung and N. Herenj found the net with ease.

Friends Club A faced no hassles in drubbing DBMS English High School with Salil Horo scoring brace twice. His efforts were well complimented by S. Lugun, M. Kandulna, K. Barla, P. Nag, S. Jojo (33rd), R. Aind and N. Topno.

DBMS was not given any leeway and was forced to remain consigned to their half for most part of the match. The losing team played without plan and found their opponents too strong to handle.

T. Herenj of Bharat Munda Samaj B scored brace twice, but Jaipal Singh Munda players fought back to draw the match with B. Gudia and J. Gudia scoring one each.
