All the eight students, who made it to the final round of the event held by Hill Top School in association with Greycaps, Bangalore, and The Telegraph, exhibited their leadership qualities in four rounds conducted by quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, the CEO of Greycaps.
The finalists were selected out of 46 students from 23 schools and were judged on parameters such as communication skills, thought process, ability to manage situations, content, grace and empathy.
In the introduction round called Tweet realities, participants were asked to describe themselves in brief from the perspective of their friends.

Students in the third round were given choices among nine qualities. They had to choose one relating it to a well- known person living or dead, followed by an explanation in 30 seconds. Shilpy Agarwal of DBMS English School, who chose courage, spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "He is courageous because he took the decision of initiating the demonetisation to end corruption," she said.
The last round saw judges asking participants how they performed in the previous rounds.
Tarun Daga, managing director of Tinplate Company of India, who was one of the judges, asked parents to identify the talent in their children. "Do not put pressure on children. Parents need to uphold their wards' dignity, self-esteem and confidence which will help them become good human beings," he added.
