Ranchi, Nov. 9: M for Mahi, M for Mecon will continue with the consultancy giant allotting a bungalow to Mahendra Singh Dhoni?s father Paan Singh.

Finding their present two-bedroom flat too small, the Dhonis had decided to shift to a spacious three-bedroom flat in Kilburn Colony on a monthly rent of Rs 5,600. But, now they have decided to continue in Mecon Colony where Mahi was born and where he learnt his cricket.

The consulting company, which takes pride in mentioning ?M for Mahi and M for Mecon?, has succeeded in retaining its prized possession and the Dhonis are to shift to their new address, E-25, Mecon Colony, within a fortnight. Besides offering spacious living space to the Dhonis, the independent bungalow also has a garage where Mahi can park his Scorpio SUV and his swanky motorcycle, a sprawling garden where the senior Dhoni can revive his lost interest in gardening and most of all sufficient space for the cricketer?s pet Sam ? a German Shephard ? to run and play.

The present first floor house of 600 square feet, also in Mecon Colony, does not have a garage, forcing the cricketer to park his SUV and motorcycle at his sister Jayanti Gupta?s apartment in Doranda. Moving on the concrete floors, two-year-old Sam, too, had developed ricket, a defect in the legs.

The new bungalow, which is allotted only to senior officials in the rank of AGM/DGM, has two big bedrooms, a spacious drawing-cum-dining hall besides an independent servant?s quarters.
