Guwahati, Sept. 11: Mikhail Bora, son of Indrani Mukerjea, told Times Now today that his mother had bought his silence for the past three years.
Indrani, the wife of former STAR India CEO Peter Mukerjea, is in judicial custody after she was arrested in connection with the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora on April 24, 2012.
Mikhail was taken to Mumbai on August 28 for questioning. He returned to Guwahati on Wednesday.
"My mother had bought my silence. Every time I asked about Sheena, she either used to threaten to send me to rehab or to cut down the money she used to send me every month," he said.
He said he had received emails from his sister's account two months after her death. "On July 2012, I received a mail from Sheena's Hotmail account. She told me she is leaving her apartment and I need to send a discontinuation notice to the apartment owner. Before receiving this mail, I got a call from Indrani informing me that I might receive a mail from Sheena," Mikhail said.
"Hello brother. How are you? How're nana, nani?" he said, quoting from the mail sent from Sheena's account. He said he had couriered the discontinuation notice.
