New Delhi, May 20 (PTI): Delhi University's counselling sessions, in which students and parents can seek answers to their queries about the admission process for 2015-16, will begin tomorrow.
Every year, aspirants and their parents are invited for these sessions, called Open Days, to get their queries addressed by DU staff.
"The Open Days sessions will be held to counsel students and their parents about the choice of courses in different colleges and the eligibility criteria for admission to various undergraduate programmes," the deputy dean of students' welfare, Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, said.
"The sessions will be held till May 30 from 10am to 1pm, except Sundays, in the varsity's conference centre opposite the botany department in the north campus."
The university also plans to post recordings of these sessions on its website.
The varsity has also prepared a set of frequently-asked questions based on queries from students in previous years, Tuteja said.
The FAQs will be available on the website soon and students visiting the campus will also be given handouts.
Admissions to over 54,000 seats in DU's undergraduate courses will begin from May 28.
The online registration process will be open from May 28 to June 15 while offline forms will be accepted at the registration centres from June 5 to June 15. The first cut-off list will be announced on June 25.
