New Delhi, Dec. 1 (PTI): K. Chandramouli, a 1975-batch IAS officer, took over as secretary in the ministry of health and family welfare today.

The Uttar Pradesh cadre officer was the secretary and director-general, National AIDS Control Organisation (Naco). He has worked in the health ministry for over 10 years.

Chandramouli will continue to hold his charge at Naco.
