Eight-year-old Gopal Sonar returned to the local police station a bag carrying Rs 12,500 he found while playing in Canal West Road yesterday. Deputy commissioner, detective department, Narayan Ghosh said Gopal gave the bag to his mother and told her to take the money to the officer-in-charge of the local police station. Police are trying to locate the owner of the bag.
