Following the teaser launch of Thalapathu Vijay’s Leo to Nani’s Dasara, the makers of other upcoming movies from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries dropped new trailers and teasers last week. Here’s a look at some of them.
The makers have released the first look teaser of Prabhudheva’s 60th film Wolf. Helmed by Vinoo Venkatesh, the film is bankrolled by Sandesh Nagaraj. Anuja Kurian and Lakshmi Rai play the female leads.
In the 49-second-long teaser, we get a glimpse of the world of Wolf. Prabhudheva is seen standing among a pack of wolves. The actor-director tweeted the video with the caption “Here's the First Look and Motion Poster of my film #WOLF Written and Directed by @vinoo_venketesh”
AK Entertainments dropped the date announcement teaser of its upcoming Telugu-language action thriller film Agent. Helmed by Surender Reddy, the film stars Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty and Sakshi Vaidya in lead roles.
The 52-second-long teaser shows a masked captive being tortured and repeatedly asked who sent him. Right at the end of the clip, we see that Akhil Akkineni plays the prisoner.
Agent will hit the theatres on April 28.
Oh My Darling (Malayalam)
T-Series Malayalam presented the official teaser of the upcoming Malayalam-language romantic film Oh My Darling. Directed by Alfred D Samuel, the film stars Anikha Surendran, Melvin G Babu, Mukesh, Lena, Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, Vijaya Raghavan, Nandu, Archana Menon, Fukru, Dain Davis, Rithu, Manoj Sreekanta and Shaju Sreedhar.
The one-minute-45-second-long teaser starts with a young boy and girl talking on a video call somewhere in Kerala. Then they meet on a terrace with a bottle of Korean alcohol Soju and the girl makes a special Korean drink. They end up getting sloshed and start dancing.
Marigudada Gaddadharigalu (Kannada)
A2 Music shared the official trailer of its upcoming Kannada-language film Marigudada Gaddadharigu. Directed by R Chandrakanth, the film stars Salaga suri anna, Avinash, Ramesh Bhat, Praveen, Nanjunda Ganesh Rao, Benaka Najappa, Prashanth Siddi, Namrata, Baby Marisha and Shaaron.
The two-minute-50-second-long trailer introduces us to a gang of violent dacoits whose leader abducts a girl and weds her forcefully. We are also shown greedy landlords, corrupt police officers and helpless villagers suffering in the midst of corruption.
