THRILL SEEKERS: Team Guptodhoner Sondhane got together to launch the trailer of the film directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. Starring Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty, Ishaa Saha and Arindam Sil, Guptodhoner Sondhane follows a renowned history professor (Abir) from Oxford, who has come to Calcutta for a short visit, which is when his nephew, (Arjun), decides to visit his ancestral home. “We wanted to do a film for all age groups packed with fun, adventure, history, tradition. Dhrubo’s script had it all. So we went ahead and did the film.  In the trailer, we wanted to bring in the excitement that the film promises,” said Sil, who plays Ishaa’s father and is presenting the April 27 film.

LAKKHICHHARA@HRC: Rock act Lakkhichhara wowed audiences at Hard Rock Cafe on Park Street with a bunch of their chartbusters like Jibon  chaichhe   aaro   beshi , Boba festoon, Kemon  achho   shohor , Telephone and Paaliye  beraai . “We have played at many national as well as international gigs but the excitement of playing at Hard Rock Cafe in your own city is beyond expression. Just like any musician, I always had the desire to play here. The audience was energetic and at their best! With each song, we felt a better  connect  with them. 50 NOT OUT: Tarun Majumdar’s Bhalobashar Bari completed 50 days on March 30, and lead actress Rituparna Sengupta dropped by to mark the occasion at Nandan.
