A whopping 1,040,654 views have been notched up by a 1:06 video that shows body beautiful Deepika Padukone, sadly with her back to the camera, sweating it out in the gym as prep for her first Holly film — XxX: The Return of Xander Cage — in which Bolly’s queen bee is slated to do some high-octane stunts alongside action man Vin Diesel. This 2:52 clip — with 682,710 views — starts off with the traditional Alpha (“sexually confident”) and Beta (“docile introvert”) species, before shifting focus to Delta (“open-minded”) and Eta (“classic gentlemen”). Our ROFL picks? Zeta (“die-hard Catherine Zeta-Jones fans”) and Iota (“small and insignificant and often found arguing in the comments section of websites”).

Fifty-six years after she became every little girl’s best friend, Barbie undergoes a makeover, with the team at Mattel going beyond “the narrow definition” — as they describe it in this 1:46 video — of the petite and pretty doll. So what’s the all-new Barbie about? Three new body types — curvy, tall and petite. She will also be available in seven skin tones, 22 eye colours and 24 hairstyles! The best thing about the clip — that has 602,984 thumbs-ups — are the smiles on the faces of Barbie’s knee-high target audience as they play with their all-new dolls. We wanna be kids again!

And that sums up the howlarious trailer of Tera Surroor, a 3:18 watch starring Himesh, all bulked-up and pout in place, beating up 10 goons and carrying out daredevil car chases, with close to 30 seconds dedicated to showing him romancing in bed, (almost) 50 Shades of Grey-style. Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor are cute and charming in a 42-second video to announce the release date — December 9 — of their film Befikre, directed by Aditya Chopra. The fun twist: Vaani announces the date in perfect French (Befikre is set in Paris), with Ranveer translating it into Hindi. Total ‘oui’s: 183,443.
THREE MEN AND A... WATCH!
Props to Titan for its out-of-the-box casting — filmmaker Kabir Khan, music man Pritam and stand-up comic Vir Das — in its new campaign for its Juxt range of watches. The fun ad — which stands out for the cool chemistry between Kabir and his Bajrangi Bhaijaan composer Pritam — has the duo waiting at a restaurant for their friend, played by Vir. They soon spot him with a gang of girls, a few tables away. When confronted, Vir says he hasn’t got any of their messages, but his lie is caught out when an SMS — saying ‘Liar! Liar!’ — shows up on his watch!
The second ad has a similar theme with Pritam being caught by his two friends, again courtesy a special feature of the watch, when he lies that he’s been exercising.
