Yasir Shah, model- turned-actor from Pakistan who has done over two hundred fashion shows in Karachi, will now be seen playing the role of a high-flying lawyer in one of the most popular shows on 9X called Jiya Jale.

Yasir was earlier offered meaty roles from some of the best production houses but he chose this role over the rest as he felt, that the character offered to him by 9X was closest to his real self.

Yasir plays Yug, a sharp, over-confident and self-made man.

This will be Yasir’s first appearance on TV though he also auditioned for a role in a serial called Khwaish, where he played the role of Azaan, before it went off air.

Produced by Siddharth Basu’s Synergy Adlabs, Jiya Jale is a classic love story of the beautiful and innocent Sunaina Kotak (Sriti Jha), who is beginning to fall in love with the idea of love when she meets Chandan Bhimani (Saurav Pandey). Yasir’s entry in the show is sure to raise the drama quotient several notches.
