The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special
Marvel Studios have dropped the trailer for their special presentation, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Directed by James Gunn, it is the second special presentation from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film features Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker and Zoe Saldaña.
In the one-minute-14-second-long trailer, We see Quill (Pratt) grappling with his broken heart as the Guardians decide to meet his hero, actor Bacon, as a way to give Star-Lord some holiday cheer.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 25.
The Son
Sony Pictures Classic has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming film The Son, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern and Vanessa Kirby. The film is helmed by Florian Zeller, who previously directed the critically acclaimed film The Father.
In the one-minute-50-second-long teaser, Peter (Jackman) must adjust to his estranged son Nicholas (Zen McGrath), who is staying with him after being dropped off by his mother Kate (Laura Dern). Academy Award-winning actor Anthony Hawkins is also seen in the trailer. Vanessa Kirby stars as Peter’s girlfriend, who is living with him. The trailer focuses on Nicholas’ discontent with his father’s new partner.
The Son will arrive in cinemas on November 25.
FIFA Uncovered
Netflix released the official trailer of its upcoming documentary FIFA Uncovered which follows the allegations surrounding the world’s largest governing body of football.
The one-minute-36-second-long trailer focuses on FIFA’s former president Sepp Blatter’s reign which allegedly led to tax evasion, bribery, money laundering and other grim criminal activities. The documentary chronicles everything, from power struggles to global politics. It also explores FIFA’s history and what it takes to host a World Cup.
FIFA Uncovered is set to release on Netflix on November 9.
AS04
On his 32nd birthday, Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma shared the teaser of his upcoming action thriller AS04, directed by Katyayan Shivpuri and produced by KK Radhamohan.
He shared the teaser of the film on social media and wrote, “Birthday par kuch Action Thrill toh banta hai Aap sabka pyaar hi hai meri pehchaan, Thank you all for your wishes. Presenting my 4th #AS04.”
In the short teaser, we see the actor in an all-new action avatar. He is seen taking on a team of skilled mercenaries first with his bare hands and then an automatic assault rifle. AS04 is slated for a 2023 release.
Ghar Banduk Biryani
Zee Studios has unveiled the Hindi teaser of its upcoming Marathi film Ghar Banduk Biryani, produced by acclaimed filmmaker Nagraj Popatrao Manjule. Apart from producing the film, Manjule will act in it alongside Sairat actor Akash Thosar and veteran actor Sayaji Shinde. Hemant jangal Awtade is making his directorial debut with this film.
From the short one-minute-20-second-long teaser, it looks like a social satire that focuses on the outlaws. In the teaser, we see the characters fight for survival amid indiscriminate shooting. Manjule recently made his Hindi film debut as a director with Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Ghar Banduk Biryani will be released in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 2023.
