ABP Ananda’s Superstar Bonam Megastar Awards aims to recognise the top pujas of Calcutta. In its 11th year, t2 joined the ABP Ananda team on the puja trail to pick the star pujas of 2015. The results are in and here are the winners!

SELIMPUR PALLI

Take a walk down memory lane at Selimpur Palli. In its 78th year, the theme is ‘Nostalgia’, where they have gone back to the past in this era of technology and competition. As you enter the narrow lane leading to the mandap, you embark on a journey starting from Mahalaya right up to Durga Puja, with lights and tools like saws and hammers, representing pandals under construction. A revolving structure made of iron is used to display old magazine covers and Puja-related advertisements, through which one sees the idol, with beautiful background music adding to the ambience.
