A representative for Rihanna has confirmed that the singer-actress is pregnant after her rocking Super Bowl halftime performance on Monday, according to entertainment portal Hollywood Reporter.

The nine-time Grammy Award-winning artiste sang and danced to many of her hits at the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to become the 2023 NFL champions.

Rihanna took the stage at the Apple Music Halftime Show. Her 13-minute-long set ran through some of her greatest hits, including Diamonds, Umbrella, Bitch Better Have My Money, Only Girl (In the World) and Work. She had one viral moment where she touched up her makeup mid-song, giving some nice promotion to her makeup brand Fenty Beauty. It was a triumphant return to performing at Super Bowl after her five-year performance hiatus.

The 2023 Super Bowl was a star-studded affair with the presence of Paul Rudd, Jordin Sparks, Jay-Z, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Niecy Nash, Gordon Ramsay, Damar Hamlin and more. Later in the game, the camera showed Adele, Paul McCartney, Floyd Mayweather, LeBron James and Bradley Cooper were also in attendance.

The Super Bowl festivities also kicked off before the game with country music star Chris Stapleton singing the national anthem and Babyface singing America the Beautiful.

Rihanna and her partner rapper ASAP Rocky are the proud parents of a nine-month-old boy. She was last seen in 2019’s musical film Guava Island opposite actor-comedian-singer Donald Glover.

Previously, the singer-actress had starred in 2018’s heist-action film Ocean’s 8, which also featured an ensemble cast of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina and Helena Bonham Carter.
