BLUEZZ

Bluezz Valentine’s Day in association with t2 was all about a warm, colourful decor and happy vibes. With resident DJ Prince playing romantic Bollywood numbers such as Pehla nasha and Do dil mil rahe hain, couples had a good time sipping house special cocktails like Watermelon Mojito (in picture) at the Axis Mall chill spot. Each table came with a complimentary cake and a wine bottle for the ladies. Dim lights set the mood for some close dancing.

WILD WEST TAVERN

Texas cowboy-themed pub Wild West Tavern in Ballygunge  decided to go big on the mush factor this Valentine’s Day. From complimentary wine, cake and flowers to soft beats played by DJ Jack, the evening was focused on couples who were treated to some delish grub and tipple. While Chicken Satay (below) remained the top pick, vodka-based Pineapple Blossom was the preferred concoction of the night.

CALCUTTA INTERNATIONAL CLUB

The club on Shakespeare Sarani celebrated its first Valentine’s night in association with IIHM at the Calcutta International Club and IIHM presents Valentine’s Day International Food Fest partnered by t2. From a fashion show and dance performance by the students of IIHM to an act by saxophonist Shaukat Ali Khan, the night was high on entertainment. Performances were followed by dinner,  which was a mix of Continental and Indian fare. Desserts were aplenty and the bestseller was the Blueberry Souffle. Cocktails such as Bloody Mary and Screwdriver were much in demand.

THE SATURDAY CLUB

The Saturday Club had quaint heart-shaped fairy lights that added to the ambience and screamed ‘love is in the air’.

The bar was a busy zone with some quirky cocktails being churned out one after the other by bartender Uttam Singh.

CC&FC

CC&FC kept it mellow and classy this Valentine’s Day. With band Barefoot churning out slow and romantic numbers by Enrique Iglesias and Adele, the dance floor was packed and a special cocktail bar for the evening kept revellers in high spirits. Red was the colour of the night. Cocktails such as Campari Mojito, Whiskey Sipper, Sangria and Daiquiri were the pop picks.
