The cash registers are jingling with love stories this autumn. Close on the heels of Chirodini... Tumi Je Aamar is Bhalobasha Bhalobasha, whose five-week run has prompted producer Ashok Dhanuka to add one more song to the film from Tuesday. And that too, after shooting it right after Kali Puja!

“The new song sequence has cost us Rs 5 lakh. We had thought of a seventh song while shooting the film but we stuck to six, keeping the length of the film in mind. Bhalobasha Bhalobasha is doing very good business and this song is my gift to all those who have watched and loved the film!” smiles Dhanuka.

Bhalobasha Bhalobasha had a budget of Rs 3 crore. Of the six numbers, two were shot at Salzburg in Austria. The seventh track, Bol raja chai kemon rani, has been lipped by lead man Hiran and sung by Shaan. Director Ravi Kinnagi has chopped a few scenes to make room for it.

“We shot the song in Nalban, Nicco Park and City Centre. It’s a peppy track and I had loads of fun shooting for it. I hope people appreciate it too,” says Hiran, who romances newcomer Shrabanti in the film.

Bhalobasha Bhalobasha revolves around the mushy romance between college-goer Hiran and the chirpy Shrabanti. It’s about how the two try to win over Hiran’s possessive and adamant father (Sabyasachi Chakraborty).
