Nirupa was so on-trend with that polo neck. “NH7 Weekender is awesome and I am thrilled by the performances! The venue is spacious and the fact that there are six stages offering different types of music is definitely one of the best things about the festival,” said the 24-year-old who accessorised her look with a Charles & Keith bag.
For Andrea Tariang it was her debut at a music festival and NH7 Weekender sure lived up to her expectations. “All the artistes are very good and the performances extremely well organised. It’s super fun with fantastic energy!” said the assistant school administrator. We heart her hairstyle and the cute headband.
“NH7 Weekender was so beautiful and magical! Such big artistes performing in front of us was definitely a big deal. I loved how music united so many people who’ve never met before,” said Sonika Sil, who loved The Raghu Dixit Project, and Papon and The East India Company. The graphic designer made a pretty picture in a printed maxi dress.
“My friends kept talking about the Dutch band Textures. With the energy in their music, I really enjoyed head-banging... something that I don’t normally do. And I loved Papon’s performance,” said Sanjukta Roy, a student of NSHM.
“I have attended NH7 Weekender in Delhi before and I must say the Calcutta edition, keeping in mind that it’s the first time here, lived up to my expectations. It was very punctual and well organised,” said actress Mumtaz Sorcar, who nailed the leather-on-leather look.
“I am looking forward to Textures... heard a lot about them. Raghu Dixit is another performer I am waiting for. I really like the way he sings with a lot of soul,” chirped Ayesha Langstieh, 24, an assistant manager with a company.
“It’s such a great festival! The music is awesome and the turnout is great. Very well organised too. I loved Textures,” said Mekhola Bose, a member of dance crew The Calcutta Waack Pack.
“To be here at NH7 Weekender in Calcutta is unreal! I am here with my friends and we are having a great time. We want to try and catch every band but I’m looking forward to Nucleya the most. I’ve heard a lot about his music,” said Ankita Gulati, a student of NUJS who looked Miss Sunshine in a yellow cardigan over her maxi dress.
