If you think you’ve hit a plateau or you’re tired of the same treadmill routine, drop in at Rave Fitness Studio, opposite the La Martiniere for Girls back gate. Functional fitness — schooling your body to handle real-life situations — is the dictum here. Goodbye bad-for-the-knees treadmill. Hello, resistance bands and plyometric boxes.

Rave covers an area of 1,500 square feet and the only cardio machine in sight is the rower. There are kettlebells, dumb-bells, bars, a boxing bag, battle ropes, resistance bands and suspension ropes for all the muscle groups you want to work. Making working out harder but more fun.

“Our objective is to get you out of your comfort zone and push you! So do not expect to be put on a treadmill to walk at a leisurely pace. We will train you like an athlete,” said Saurav Arora, proprietor, Rave Fitness Studio.
