Debutante Janhvi Kapoor had her family — father Boney, sister Khushi, uncles Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, and cousins Harshvardhan Kapoor, Mohit Marwah — to encourage her in the midst of robust media turnout for the Dhadak trailer launch on Monday.

As producer Karan Johar introduced her, one did not have to be Sherlock Holmes to detect her nervousness. Janhvi looked towards her director every time a question was put to her.

And she actually went backstage to wipe the sweat off her face in the middle of the media conference.

“I am nervous now I am in front of you all. And I am excited to show this,” she admitted when asked how she was feeling at the moment.

She kept looking towards director Shashank Khaitan.

“You can see I am very nervous,” she added again, shaking her head.
