Of hearts, I think! For me, a day is extremely successful if I’ve tasted or experienced something new; if I’ve been able to provide someone with a new experience; or if I’ve met someone I want to keep in touch with.

That I became an actor!

I am a man of many trades and talents but a master of few.

Where do you keep your awards?

I have no clue. I don’t really know where they are. I’m ashamed about it but awards and trophies make you dwell in the past and I don’t believe in that.

What would you cook to impress somebody?

Stories.

The worst thing that you’ve ever tasted?

My cooking (laughs).

Your biggest fear in life…

Being irrelevant.

I keep changing my mind.

I’m determined like a monk once I’ve zeroed in on what I need to do.

Where did you grow up?

In the east. Jamshedpur.

When you’re not working…

I have lots of hobbies — gardening, travelling, skiing, writing and all sorts of stuff. But if I don’t have anything to do, I sleep!

There are so many. The question should be: “What have I not watched yet?!” I have loved everything from The Good Wife to Fresh Off The Boat to Billions to The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel.
