Once upon a time in Bollywood, they were bitter rivals. In fact, once when Juhi Chawla was asked what she would gift Madhuri Dixit, the charming Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak star had uncharacteristically replied: “Vanishing cream to make Madhuri disappear”! If March 7 release Gulaab Gang brings the two 1980s glam girls together on the big screen for the first time, Koffee with Karan brings them together on the small screen tonight (STAR World at 9pm). Karan Johar (to Juhi Chawla): When you look back at your career graph, everyone looks back at some point of time and says ‘This is what I did right and this is what I did wrong’…. Are there any kind of regrets when you look back?

Juhi: Yes, there were some silly decisions along the way and I think my success had gone to my head and my head had floated away with my brains and ya, I did make some not-so-great decisions and when I look back I’d say I made superstars of other little actresses!

Karan: But you know, it happens to a lot of leading movie stars, you can never tell what is the right film to do and sometimes you are dictated by the diktat of the market at that time and that sometimes makes you make some errors in judgement…

Juhi: Yes, at times… it was the fact that I was already so busy that I thought, you know, the film world would stop if I didn’t do a film and…. But no, things move on and that suddenly becomes a window for somebody else to step in and when the film that you didn’t do turns out really nice, you are like: ‘Oh my goodness, what was I thinking?’

Karan (to Madhuri Dixit):What does it feel like when you have young guys lusting for you now?

Madhuri: Very flattering… you are wasting your time and my time!

Karan: If you were stuck in a lift with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, what will you do?

Madhuri: Disappear! I will pretend I am not there.

MALLIKA SHERAWAT NEEDS A THERAPIST! Karan: If you could change one thing about your husband (Jai Mehta)?

Juhi: His hair! Karan: If you wanted to make your debut today, which current actor would you want to be cast opposite?

Juhi: Ranbir (Kapoor). Karan: What is the one thing Madhuri has that you don’t?

Juhi: An American accent.

Karan: A current actor or actress you would recommend a stylist to?

Juhi: Parineeti (Chopra). Karan: A therapist?

Juhi: Mallika Sherawat. Karan: A gym instructor?

Juhi: Apart from me and you, I don’t think there’s anybody else! Karan: Acting coach?

Juhi: Nargis Fakhri… maybe? Karan: An overrated film in your opinion?

Juhi: Everybody spoke of this film so much and I saw such big hoardings, then when I saw it I was like (makes a face)… Kai Po Che!

Karan: Who do you think would star in the remake of 40-year-old Virgin?

Juhi: You!

Karan: Dumb and Dumber?

Juhi: Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor.

ONE THING JUHI DOESN’T HAVE? DANCE!

Karan: What is the one thing you have that Juhi doesn’t?

Madhuri: Dance.

Karan: Which one of these item songs could you have done better… Munni badnaam hui, Chikni Chameli, Sheila ki jawaani or Fevicol se?

Madhuri: All!

Karan: Which young actor would you like to do a romantic film with… Ranbir, Ranveer (Singh) or Imran (Khan)?

Madhuri: Ranbir.

Karan: A rumour that you would like to spread about yourself?

Madhuri: That I am doing Karan Johar’s next film.

Karan: What would you find if you entered Anil Kapoor’s bedroom?

Madhuri: Maybe a lot of scripts from Hollywood…

Karan: Sriram Nene?

Salman Khan’s episode has been the season’s best so far and the deleted clip is even more fun. When asked what’s the downside of having an actress as girlfriend, Salman quipped: “You’d be the only one not knowing they are acting (in the relationship)!” His suggestion for an alternative career for the articulate Abhishek Bachchan? Elocution teacher!

Aamir hated Karan’s K3G!

Host KJo corners Aamir Khan with: “You disliked K3G so much that you avoided the entire cast and me and ran into your car because you didn’t want to tell us how much you hated it!” Aamir looks sheepishly at Karan and just when it seems he will deny it, he blurts out a “Yes!”

‘I prefer boys’

The hour-long episode had glossed over it, but Priyanka Chopra revealed how she was propositioned by a woman in a nightclub. She denied naming her, but revealed that Karan knew the woman well. PC’s parting shot? “I prefer boys.”

Naughty Ranbir!

Kareena Kapoor was on KWK with just one agenda: to make cousin Ranbir’s affair with Katrina Kaif public. In this clip, when KJo asks Bebo who was naughtier as a kid, Kareena replies: “As a kid, I was naughtier, but now it’s Ranbir,” followed by a wink.
