RRR had bagged four awards at the HCA Awards on February 25. The period drama took home trophies in the Best Action Film, Best International Feature, Best Original Song and Best Stunts categories. Ram Charan, who played one of the leads in the film, accompanied Rajamouli on stage to receive the award for best international film. While Rajamouli had dedicated the award to India, Ram Charan promised to come back to Hollywood with more entertainment in future.

The song Naatu Naatu from RRR —written by Chandrabose, composed by M.M. Keeravani, sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, with an energetic choreography by Prem Rakshith— has already won a Golden Globe award. The peppy dance number has also bagged a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards, which will be presented on March 12.

RRR is a fictionalised account of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr. NTR). Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Olivia Morris were also part of the movie. RRR has collected over Rs 1,200 crore gross worldwide.
