If you find yourself ordering one of these during the inter-kool [read: interval] of Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, then it means you listened and laughed!

The Tusshar Kapoor-Aftab Shivdasani starrer pops a series of mistaken identities and what follows is a comedy of errors in this “porn-com”. One way to explain this movie is: It’s funny in parts. If you were walking past and stopped at a scene, you’d find it funny. But if you were to sit through 125 minutes, you wouldn’t. 

In KKHH3, Tusshar is the bhola Kanhaiyan in search of a BP (beautiful patni) while Aftab plays a frivolous Rocky. Both are best friends and do everything together. That includes turning into porn stars when friend Mickey, played by Krushna Abhishek, offers them a job in Bangkok.

All’s well until Kanhaiyan falls in love with Shalu, played by the very pretty but unimpressive Mandana Karimi, and the rest of the story is about how the boys try to keep that a secret and impress Shalu’s father Soorat Karjatiya [yes, there’s a dig there at Prem Ratan Dhan Payo man Sooraj Barjatya], played by Darshan Jariwala. The other father is Kanhaiyan’s dad,  played by Shakti Kapoor. And even if you don’t find the rest of the film funny, you will grin when Shakti Kapoor cracks a joke about Shakti Kapoor! 

Yes, the grand masti of Riteish Deshmukh is missed and it felt good to see him in a cameo. Though Aftab and Tusshar do pull off a mastizaade companionship thanks to their “special talent”. With them around, everything U-rated becomes A-rated. And so Sholay becomes ‘Kholay’, Kick becomes ‘Lick’ and Chennai Express becomes ‘Chennai Sexpress!’ #SoSpoofy

There are other familiar faces. Like the ‘boobsurat’, er, khoobsurat Claudia Ciesla from Bigg Boss 3, who plays a porn star, and Meghna Naidu, who plays Shakti Kapoor’s wife and shares a heaving thoda resham lagta hai moment with Rocky in the movie. There’s even a Johny Lever lookalike, a throwback to the 2005 prequel Kya Kool Hain Hum, which was narrated by Lever. 

Lots of heaving, plenty of spoofs on Bollywood movies and dialogues and some LOL moments. Maybe if the censor board hadn’t cut 34 scenes, it would have been a real DP (Dirty Picture)! Guess we’ll never know the bare truth. 

Scenes t2 would like to go snip-snip on:

• Gisele Thakral playing Sushmita Sen from Main Hoon Na. Actually, most of Gisele’s scenes and her annoying orgasmic voice.
• The reason Mickey gives his friends about why it’s okay to make porn and why “Main porn ka nahin, punya ka kaam karta hoon.”
• Some dolt-ish dialogues like, “Will you make out, er, go out with me?”
• The very evident ads for Lucera diamonds. 
• Songs with lyrics like Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, you’re my soft toy.
• The quicksand scene which was the quick solution to everything.
