Actress Papiya Adhikary has donned the director’s hat yet again after a couple of telefilms. This time it’s a series of shorts for Doordarshan’s mega serial Ki Holo that has got her behind the camera.

“Ki Holo will have 25 crime-based stories. I am shooting the first, Jeet. It’s a psychological thriller revolving around a lonely housewife who imagines there is a stranger at her home. A series of spine-chilling incidents occur, leading to a shocking end,” says Papiya, in between shooting. Kamalika plays the housewife, Debdoot her husband and Shiladitya the guest.

The episodes Papiya will shoot next are Khakir Niche, Andhakar and Blast. Ki Holo goes on air from February 25, Monday to Friday, 10.35pm.
