
Actress Zoe Saldana feels she will suffer from the “fear of missing out” or FOMO after she exits from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 39-year-old, who starred as Gamora in the recently released Infinity War, said she is grateful she got the opportunity to play a part that is a great role model. “Yes and no. It was sad, of course, because I think that we all suffer from FOMO. There is a fear always of missing out, but I’m so happy that I got to play a part in the Marvel Universe, and I also got to play a character that is seen as a great role model for young women,” Saldana told LA Times.

Actor Topher Grace is portraying the role of a former leader of white supremacist group, the Ku Klux Klan, in BlacKkKlansman. The Spiderman 3 star is playing David Duke, an ex-Ku Klux Klan grand wizard. The Spike Lee-directed film is the real-life story of Ron Stallworth, played by John David Washington, a detective in Colorado Springs, who infiltrates the local chapter of a hate group and becomes the head of the chapter.

“Superman” Henry Cavill is missing his old moustache which he had grown for Mission: Impossible - Fallout. The moustache, he sported for his character August Walker, had generated quite a buzz on social media as well as problems during the Justice League reshoots, finally leaving an awkward CGI shadow on the actor’s face. “If I was ever going to grow a moustache, it would have to be a world-changing moustache, and I’m glad it was. I’ve put up with that thing for a year, I’ve learned to love it and now I miss it,” Cavill 34, told Entertainment Weekly.

Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge follow-up film is once again a World War II story, based on the Battle of Okinawa. The 62-year-old actor-director will helm Destroyer, which tells the story of American naval ship USS Laffey. The ship withstood multiple kamikaze attacks from the Imperial Japanese Army and earned the nickname “The Ship That Would Not Die”. Hacksaw Ridge, Gibson’s last directorial venture, also revolved around the Battle of Okinawa but showed the battle on ground. Gibson’s girlfriend Rosalind Ross, who has worked on the TV series Matador, has penned the script for the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Helen Mirren and Danny DeVito are all set to join Angelina Jolie in Disney’s The One and Only Ivan. The veteran stars will lend their voices in the upcoming animation film, which is an adaptation of the Newbery Medal-winning book, written by Katherine Applegate and illustrated by Patricia Castelao. The Hollywood Reporter said the details of the characters to be played by Mirren and DeVito were not revealed.

Black Panther actress Lupita Nyong’o will star in the Hollywood remake of John Woo’s 1989 crime classic The Killer. Woo will direct the remake and also produce it with Mark Gordon and Matt Jackson, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The original film, starring Chow Yun-fat, Danny Lee and Sally Yeh, followed assassin Ah Jong, who accidentally damages the eyes of the singer Jennie during a shootout. He later discovers that if Jennie does not undergo an expensive operation she will go blind. To get the money for Jennie, Ah Jong decides to perform one last hit. Nyong’o, 35, will portray the assassin’s role in the remake.
