DJ Caruso, the director of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, is planning to shoot a Bollywood style dance number with Deepika Padukone for the upcoming instalment of the franchise. The director had confirmed last year that Deepika will return in the next instalment of the xXx franchise, alongside Hollywood action star Vin Diesel. “I want to end ‘xXx 4’ with a Bollywood dance song. Led of course by @deepikapadukone. Lungi Dance? Something new?” Caruso tweeted. One of the fans of the 32-year-old DP, who made her Hollywood debut with xXx: Return of Xander Cage, asked the director if the song will be part of the end credits and he replied with a “yes”. The upcoming film will mark Deepika’s second Hollywood project.

Actor Jamie Foxx is set to star in the Spawn film from Blumhouse Productions. The 50-year-old actor will play the titular character which was created by Todd McFarlane and first appeared in comics in 1992. The character is a human-turned-Hellspawn who possesses superhuman strength and speed, and near immortality. Spawn also has the ability to teleport, shapeshift, and heal. The comic series follows Al Francis, a US Marine, working for a CIA black ops unit who is killed in battle and sent to hell for his war crimes.

South star Vedhika Kumar will make her Bollywood debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in The Body. The film will be directed by Jeethu Joseph, who is best known for 2013 Drishyam. “After a nationwide hunt and several auditions, we finally found what we were looking for. Vedhika’s character is of a young college going girl who has this innocence about her. She fits the role beautifully,” Joseph said in a statement.

Kajol will voice Helen Parr, a.k.a. Elastigirl, for the Hindi release of Incredibles 2. Kajol will weave magic as Elastigirl when she is called on to help bring Supers back and Bob — Mr Incredible, who was voiced by Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi version of Incredibles (2004) — navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home. “With Kajol as Helen a.k.a. Elastigirl, Incredibles 2 will definitely appeal to newer audiences,” said Bikram Duggal, head, studio entertainment, Disney India. “Incredibles 2 brings to us a heartwarming tale of a family that is like us; yet different. There were so many moments in the story that I could relate with. I am really excited to be a part of the family of Supers and contribute to this fun feature,” said Kajol.
