Emily in Paris Season 3 drops on Netflix tomorrow and we cannot wait to see Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) back in the romance capital. Between jumping from one messy romance to another and making a tough call about her career, Emily is in a precarious position as Season 3 is set to drop. Here is a recap of three things you need to remember before watching the third season of the romantic drama.

Emily is right in the middle of a love triangle, yet again

Emily’s friendship with Camille (Camille Razat) is on the line after Emily and Gabriel’s (Lucas Bravo) messy romance is revealed at her birthday party. But the girls mend it by promising each other never to get back with Gabriel. The promise is soon broken by both, with Emily kissing Gabriel at a party.

In the middle of all this, Emily’s friendship with British hunk Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), whom she had met in her French class, takes a turn with Alfie developing feelings for her.

This budding romance is put to test when Alfie finds out about Emily’s past with Gabriel to which the fashionista assures him that the two are just friends. Alfie proposes to go long-distance with Emily since he has to go back to London. Emily realises her feelings for Gabriel and tries to confess her love, only to find that Camille is back with Gabriel.

A string of cliffhangers

After Madeline (Kate Walsh) comes to France and takes charge of Saviour, things take a turn for the marketing agency. Fashion mogul Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet) fires Saviour, following which Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Julian (Samuel Arnold) and Luc (Bruno Gouery) quit the agency. The trio invite Emily to lunch only to reveal that they are opening their own marketing agency and offer her a job at their startup.

It is also revealed that the reason behind Emily not committing to Gabriel was the possibility of her moving back to Chicago. Her new job offer comes with Emily’s stay at Paris getting extended. Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger with Emily calling Sylvie to let her know her decision regarding the offer. Will Emily stay back in Paris or is the young marketing talent packing her bags for Chicago?

All is well for Ashley

Emily’s best friend Ashley (Mindy Chen) has her ups and downs throughout the two seasons. She gets fired from her well-paying baby-sitting job and moves in with Emily. Her performance at drag events soon catches the eye of a two-person band who recruit her as the lead singer. The guitarist, Benoit (Kevin Dias), catches Mindy’s eye and the two start a steamy romance. Mindy’s past, however, comes back to haunt her and her band members find out that she is the daughter of the Zipper King of China. Benoit and Mindy finally get back together after a swoon-worthy performance on stage in Season 2.
