Subhashree seems to be in a rush to make up for the two years she lost after Challenge and Poran Jai Joliya Re. And now that she is back, the girl is on a role roll. After wrapping up Sujit Mondal’s untitled film opposite Dev, Subhashree is shooting for choreographer Shankaraiyya’s directorial debut Khokababu, also opposite Dev.

“My role in Khokababu isn’t much different from my last three films, except that I play a don’s sister here and I am finding it pretty amusing! Ferdous plays the don and my character has to do a balancing act between the two men in her life — the brother and the lover,” says Subhashree.

Khokababu (picture above) stars Dev and Subhashree together for the fourth time — after Challenge, Poran Jai Joliya Re and the Sujit Mondal film — and she thinks her “good friend” has become more hard-working and a better actor. “Dev is putting in double the effort now. I have noticed that before a serious scene, he sits quietly in a corner. Even if someone goes up to him for a chat, he asks them to come back later. I too try to do the same and it is actually helping! The shots get okayed fast as you go deep into your character,” she adds.

Subhashree feels her chemistry and comfort level with Dev have also gone up by several notches after the three films. “We are really at ease with each other,” she smiles.

Playing a girl from Mumbai, the slender Subhashree will sure flaunt some sexy dresses, but it’s Dev who is experimenting with his look in Khokababu. Wait to see him in a moustache!
