With summer almost around the corner, gear up for the season in advance. N2ICREAM, the new kid on the ice cream block, brings you tubs of flavours with a slight twist in the tale — by using liquid nitrogen to churn out ice cream.
“Many people ask us if it’s safe. Something that makes up 70 per cent of our atmosphere cannot be harmful. Plus, the end product is fresh, made right in front of you, and creamy because of no ice crystal formation,” said owner Kaushik Bhowmick, who is also the franchisee for three Baskin Robbins outlets in Calcutta.
The exciting part, apart from watching your ice cream being prepared under a haze of smoke, is the range of flavours available. Choose from classics like Butterscotch and Chocolate. Try desi flavours like Masala Chai, Jaljeera and Malai from the Make in India section, or fruity flavours like Coconut and Tamarind from the Garden Fresh section. What’s more? You can add a host of goodies like Red Velvet Cake, Chikki and Caramel Popcorn into your ice cream or use them as toppings. So get creative for your customised treat!
