Junglee billi: This is really like one grand jigsaw puzzle being pieced together. The look and feel of Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited last part of his Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, is being unveiled one character and one picture at a time. First to be unveiled was the villain Bane, played by Tom Hardy. Then the first poster was uploaded on the site followed shortly by the short teaser trailer. Now comes the first official photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. The file name on the website reads “selina_kyle.jpg”. That’s the real name of Catwoman. The costume, a skintight leather suit, seems very different from the ones worn by Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer, when they played Catwoman. And those sure are some high-tech glasses hot-wheels Hathaway is wearing!

He man: Is he coming this winter or next summer? Well, he won’t be landing till June 2013 but we can already catch a glimpse of him. The him in question being the new Superman — Henry Caville in Man of Steel, directed by Zack Snyder. The film also stars Amy Adams (The Fighter) as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne (Matrix) as her editor-in-chief Perry White, and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent. The villains are General Zod, played by Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother (Julia Ormond) and Superman’s father, Jor-El (Russell Crowe). The screenplay of Man of Steel is by David S. Goyer, from a story by Goyer and Christopher Nolan.
