My favourite outfit: Blue jeans, a white shirt, brown belt and brown boots.
My favourite outfit when driving to a shoot: T-shirt and jeans with floaters as one needs to change anyway. They are comfortable while you wait in the vanity van.
My favourite outfit for evening wear: I largely wear jeans, a T-shirt and boots, but sometimes a formal pair of trousers works too. If it’s a party at a friend's place then I would wear keds.
My favourite outfit for clubbing: Good-fitting denims, formal shoes and gelled hair... I don’t like dressing up funky at all.
My favourite outfit for a formal occasion: Can be Indian like a nice achkan and mojris or a formal black suit. I wouldn’t mind wearing just a white T-shirt and jeans too.
I like to sleep in: My boxers and T-shirt — easy to wear and easy to remove... (laughs)!
My favourite designers: Narendra Kumar Ahmed — he’s done my clothes in Fashion. Armani outfits are really well-fitting, and I pick up a lot of G-star and Giordano too.
My favourite brands in clothes: Gas, Gap, Next and, of course, Armani. I think clothes that are available abroad have a better fit but the same brands in India don’t; I wonder why?
My favourite brand of jeans: There are many — from G-star to Tommy, Gas to True Religion and sometimes the good ol’ Lee too.
I have a collection of: Around 17-18 pairs of jeans of different shades and fits.
My favourite colours: Blue, black, grey, brown and white. I also like different shades of all these colours, although sometimes I do wear greens and reds too.
My favourite fabrics: Cottons for their comfort and most certainly, satin.
I have a fetish for: Sunglasses as they are the most essential part of your personality; the kind of sunglasses worn sometimes shows the temperament of the person and his approach towards life too.
My favourite accessory: Belts and watches.
My wardrobe is incomplete without: Hangers and shelves, ha-ha! I guess it’s never complete; you always find something new with which to fill it up.
I look best in: T-shirts — at least that’s what I have been told.
I would like my woman to be dressed in: A sari, I think that’s very hot!
According to me, the best dressed men in the industry are: Mr Amitabh Bachchan because he’s always so proper and Salman Khan ’coz he has this cool and comfortable attitude in whatever he wears.
According to me, the best dressed women in the industry are: Bipasha Basu carries herself very well in whatever she wears, which is mostly western. She’s tall, so she can carry off anything actually.
For the first day of my shoot I wore: Jeans and T-shirt and shoes. I used the same jeans in a shot later that day too.
I shop at: Many places in Bandra and abroad at stores like Next, Replay, Sisley, etc. I picked up a lot of stuff from Billabong in Australia recently.
The most expensive gift I have bought: I don’t buy very expensive stuff unless it’s something really outstanding. I picked up a pair of brown boots for $325.
An inexpensive thing that I bought but I treasure: A keychain of a car that I’ll use when I buy that particular car.
I never leave my house without: My wallet, mobile, sunglasses and mints.
My wallet always contains: My credit card and of course currency.
The brand of watches I wear: Guess, Diesel and Seiko.
In shoes the brand I patronise: Adidas... they last longer than others.
The number of shoes I have: I have 15 pairs. I bought a pair of brown leather shoes some three years back and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn — I wear them whenever I travel abroad.
