JISSHU-KOEL GET BACK TOGETHER FOR BANGAL-GHOTI FIGHT Published 11.05.12, 12:00 AM

Jisshu Sengupta and Koel Mallick resumed the shoot of Probir Nandi’s Bangal-Ghoti-Fatafati after a gap of about four years on Tuesday at Nature Park, near Majerhat Bridge. “Our producer (Chandan Chakraborty) fell ill after we began shooting four years ago and it had to be called off. Later, we couldn’t match Koel and Jisshu’s dates. About six months back, I got in touch with them again and blocked their dates,” said director Nandi. “After four years, I have even forgotten the story!” chuckled Jisshu. “It’s a comedy where I play a bangal who is an ardent supporter of East Bengal. Koel plays my ghoti neighbour,” added Jisshu, jogging his memory. “In real life too, I’m a bangal and an East Bengal fan, so I can easily relate to the character. But I am a big zero when it comes to football!” admitted the cricket buff. “Well, Jisshu and I are eternally at loggerheads in the film,” laughed Koel, before posing for the t2 camera.
