Anupam Kher sings for Anurag Basu's upcoming film Metro...In Dino under Pritam’s music direction

Anupam Kher has recently recorded a song composed by Pritam for Anurag Basu's upcoming film Metro...In Dino.

The veteran actor posted several photos and videos of the recording on Instagram on Sunday. “All dreams come true: Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that I would get an opportunity to record a song for an @anuragbasuofficial film #MetroInDino under the music direction of @ipritamofficial. But I believe ‘anything can happen’. I am over the moon. #PritamDa and #AnuragDa are geniuses in their field. It was a matter of pride for me to sing for them. “It's my dream to sing for Pritamda. I believe every attempt takes you one step closer to your dreams. Whether people will like it or not, I don't know. I have done my job,” the Uunchai actor said in the video.

Metro...In Dino is an upcoming anthology film directed by Anurag Basu that will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh in significant roles. In Dino is a popular song from Anurag’s 2007 drama Life in a... Metro that depicted the various shades of human relationships in contemporary times.

Speaking about Metro... In Dino, Anurag had earlier said that the movie is a tale of the people and for the people. “The storyline is fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary times with them. Pritam has literally added life to the characters and story with his work,” the Barfi director had explained.
