Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R. Madhavan have put to rest the speculations about a sequel to 3 Idiots in the making as their latest video turned out to be a promotional video for a cricket betting app.

The new promo of the ‘Dream 11' app, titled Sab Khelenge, pits actors against cricketers. The ad begins with Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman attending a press conference to take a dig at cricketers for stepping into the field of acting. This is followed by Indian cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal mocking the actors in return.

“Cricketers are taking quite an interest in films these days,” says Madhavan in the promotional video, with Sharman chiming in, “Whenever you switch on the TV, you can see cricketers in ads.” “Since they are busy with filming, we thought let us take care of cricket,” adds Aamir.

Indian national team cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma defend themselves and mock the 3 Idiots stars in the video. “You don’t need money to make speeches,” retorted Ashwin, while Rohit Sharma comes up with a savage one-liner: “One doesn’t become a cricketer just by playing cricket in Lagaan.”

When Madhavan points out that Aamir Khan has actually given 'real hits' in his career, Rohit adds, “One doesn’t become a hitman by giving hits once every two years”.

Sharman says films starring Aamir collect Rs 300 crore or more at the box office, to which Jasprit Bumrah asks whether he can ever score 150 on the field. Hardik Pandya warns the actors, “You will bite the dust if you get one bouncer.”

At the end, Aamir is seen throwing an open challenge to the cricketers. “Jo jeeta wohi sikandar (one who wins is the king),” he says. Rohit accepts his challenge and the video ends with the caption “Sab khelenge (everyone will play)”.
