12th Fail has scored 100 days in theatres and director Vidhu Vinod Chopra celebrated the milestone with a special screening for the students of actor Anupam Kher’s Actors Prepares film school.

The remarkable success of the film, which was released on October 27 last year and is still playing in many cinemas across the country, has taken many by surprise and also reinforced one’s belief in the fact that a good film will always find its audience.

Starring Vikrant Massey in the role of an Indian Civil Services student who aces the exam despite facing the odds, 12th Fail has resonated with audiences worldwide. The fact that it is a real-life story of both inspiration and motivation, has made many flock to theatres multiple times.

What is commendable is the fact that despite the film, which also stars Medha Shankr and a strong ensemble of actors, being released on OTT, there are many takers for it in cinemas too and it continues its golden run.
